Handling Instructions: Timing of specimen collection: Predose (trough) draw- at steady state concentration. Separate serum or plasma from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection. Transfer 1mL serum or plasma to a standard transport tube. Freeze immediately and protect from light. (Min. 0.5mL). Clearly label specimens as Red Top serum or EDTA plasma. Additional specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.
